Our main business office and operating company (SIGCo Limited) is in Bermuda, reflecting the Company’s place of incorporation and current domicile. Our 8 staff members in Bermuda provide front-line service to our worldwide shipowner members for the following products and services:

• COFR Guaranties
• COFR Certificate (CG5585) applications
• International Carrier Bonds (ICBs)

SIGCo Limited is approved as a Class 3A insurance company by the Bermuda Monetary Authority and is approved by the US Coast Guard to write COFR guaranty risks under OPA90 up to the limits required under the legislation. The latter approval is based on SIGCo’s financial strength and a comprehensive reinsurance programme placed with Lloyd’s of London and other quality reinsurers.
